While driving in to work today I witnessed a scene that was straight out of a comedy. I only wish I would have had a camera ready to catch it in its full glory.
I saw a City of Toronto Parking Attendant in a car pull up behind a car that he was ticketing to write a ticket. He double parked, blocking traffic, while keying in the license plate number. Then, he drove up parallel to the victims car, rolled down his own window, and tried to place the ticket on the windshield.
Now, this guy was both too far away from the car and way too fat to squeeze out of his own car’s window. I watched this poor schmuck struggle from my car at a stop sign for a good 30 seconds.
By the end of it, I swear that he had worked up a sweat as he reached out and finally was able to lift the wiper enough to slide the ticket underneath.
Quickly, I tried to think of a way to catch it on video. I even thought about following him around until I could see it again.
