The One Photo per Day 2012 Project … Reorganization

I’ve decided that surfacing the photos here as the project progresses is a little dull so I am going to shift gears a little.

The project will still involve taking a photo every day with my iPhone 4S, however, I am going to leave the photos in a public Picasa Gallery for anyone who is interested in watching the progression.

The One Photo per Day 2012 Project

I’ve decided to start a new project for 2012 for the blog. Each day I will post a photo that I take on my iPhone 4S.

I have purposely decided not to have a theme for the photos so that I can look back at the end of the project and review my choices.

CMOs Guide to Social Media

I found this just plain funny.

CMO.com has created a guide for CMOs so that they can easily understand the social landscape of today. Seeing the details and description makes me think that this site thinks that CMOs have absolutely no idea how to use the internet. It creates the image in my head of some fatcat CMO in the 50s sitting back in his chair smoking a cigar while his underlings develop their brand strategy.

Do CMOs really not have any idea what is happening in the social space?

One Hundred Likes

I just achieved a milestone. I’m not sure if it’s a good thing, a bad thing, or somewhere in between, but it’s a milestone nonetheless.

Facebook tells me that I now “like” one hundred things. Now, remember, this is a combination between the things that I was once a “fan” of and the things that I have “like”d in more recent months.

Looking back at my 100 likes has been an interesting review for me. I mean, this isn’t the list of my top 100, or even the 100 things that I like that I would choose to share, but more of a random assortment of things that I happen to like to varying degrees.

Anyway, here is that list:
