GTA Golf Club

One of my favourite hobbies is the frustrating and irritating game of golf. My biggest problem is that I don’t get enough rounds in to improve my game to the point where I can consider myself a decent golfer.

Don’t get me wrong, I have flashes of brilliance, particularly with my handy Lob Wedge. I sometimes have huge drives too. I just can’t seem to out them together on the same hole, or for back to back holes.

So this year I decided to do something about it. I have forced myself to play a minimum of 35 rounds this year by paying for them up front.

Sam and I joined GTA GOLF CLUB with their Eagle package. In addition to any business golf that I play, I have now covered all of my costs for the year in green fees. If I don’t play all the round, then my average dost per round goes way up because I hve already laid out the cash.

It’s a great deal. It works out to $35 per round, including taxes, at courses that I would already be playing if I use all of the rounds.

This is a map that I made of where all the courses are located, an how much it is to play each course. I get a $35 credit towards every round.

For the blue pins, the $35 is more than the round would cost just to show up with the membership, so I’ll be playing those after my free rounds are used up.

The green pins are within $5 of the value of the included rounds so these will be where I spend most of my time.

The red pins are a little bit more to play, but often for a much nicer or more challening course. I will go to a few of these because I do like those courses, but I won’t go as much as green.

I am really looking forward to this golf season.
